Vocal coaching, Repertoire , Vocal maintenance for choral
singers, Keeping the mature voice youthful
The foundation for good singing comes from the
proper training. Through the appropriate repertoire choices a young voice
builds well and a mature voice maintains a healthy vocal profile. Many younger
singers get into vocal distress by singing too much of the wrong music
before developing a technique. Older singers, in particular choral singers and
those with large voices, develop bad habits by controlling their sound
through tension. The right choices in language and style in combination with
the honing of musical skills allow Daniel Ragone to help students in both
groups to correct imbalances and stay on the best singing track. His vast
knowledge of the vocal repertoire make him the ideal person for designing
recital programs and learning roles.
